Bromley High School’s 1st XI Hockey Team added a national title to a season in which they have won the Kent County Championships and the Trust Championships.

At the Hockey Centre in Nottingham, the team powered through the groups stages without conceding a goal beating Worksop College 3-0, Austin Friars 5-0 and Notting Hill and Ealing High School 1-0.

In a nail-biting final, the team conceded its first goal to Hill House School, drawing level with a shirt from Sasha (Upper Sixth) as she lay prone in the D. With 30 seconds remaining, a short corner was slotted home by Louise (Year 11).

It has been a spectacular season for the 1st XI team who have won 25 of their 29 matches, scoring 78 goals and conceding only 13; An outstanding team performance.
